Q: Am I prequalifying attendees with Trestle at the Expo?
No, attendees are only sharing their business profiles from Trestle at the Expo. Unless you're a existing Trestle GC/Owner customer with full risk requirements set up, this is just a faster way to collect attendee information.
Q: What requirements should I set?
A: Don't be too strict for the expo, you're not looking to write a contract on that day. We recommend setting up the following criteria sections for the expo: General, Legal, Capacity. You can also set nothing and Trestle will just collect information for you.
Q: What if I want to set up more sections?
A: There's nothing stopping you! Just know that attendees are less likely to have filled more complex sections for the expo.
Q: Can I change my requirements?
A: Absolutely! You can change up your requirements at any time, even during the expo or afterwards. Trestle will automatically reanalyze and issue new assessments based on your changes within the hour for all attendee connections you've made.
Q: Will every attendee share the same types of business information with me?
What attendees enter is entire up to them. Just as you can choose not to use Trestle, attendees can too. Those who do use Trestle control what information they share with exhibitors.
Q: Do I need to do anything at the expo?
A: After setting up your requirements and getting your QR code, there's nothing else you need to do. Expo attendees will go around scanning exhibitor QR codes during the event. They'll automatically show up on your Trestle dashboard once we've assessed their documentation.
